Our mission at Wayt Financial is to help our hard-working and hard-saving clients to make their golden years just that – truly golden. We are always mindful that the client’s success determines our success. Recommendations are made by Bryan G. Wayt, an independent financial advisor since 1995.
Education & Training
Bryan has studied topics pertaining to economics, investing, and personal finance since his early years at the University of Texas at Austin. Graduating magna cum laude with special honors from the Plan II Honors Program, he earned his BA with a concentration in business and economics. Along the way, he completed research papers on topics such as the Social Security system and a voluntary senior thesis on the yen/dollar exchange rate.
Upon entering the financial services industry, Bryan immediately enrolled in education and training courses to acquire the highest level of professional advisory skills. This led to his being awarded with the designations Registered Health Underwriter (RHU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®).
In addition to book knowledge, Bryan has accumulated significant “real-world” experience while serving his clients in many areas of personal finance. Over the past two decades, he has completed over 1,200 client income tax returns, 200 mortgage loans, and established over 300 investment and insurance accounts.
Though he stopped handling mortgage loans and tax returns in 2010, Bryan continues to draw upon those experiences when working with clients today. Current areas of focus are retirement planning, investments, and insurance. Bryan also created and trademarked The 401(k) Doctor® check-up, an innovative service for retirement planning.
